Discovering clusters of Mayflowers led to this Bethel  neighborhood being called Mayville.  Originally a community known for its extensive farming and rich intervale land, it has in recent years assumed the role of a rural marketplace with splashes of its 19th Century past.

Mayville’s signature beacon—the “M” weathervane of the historic Mayville Mason family farm 1799—1894.
