LARGE ATTENDANCE AT "TOP HAT" OPENING
Many people enjoyed the opening of the Top Hat Pavilion at Hanover, Saturday, June 14, (1947). In an opening ceremony, Paul C Thurston of Bethel dedicated the new building to high class entertainment for the young people in all surrounding communities.
Mr. and Mrs. Gard Brown, owners of The Top Hat; their son, Leland, manager; Mrs. Joe Roderick, in charge of the check room; and Joe Roderick, ticket-seller; were called to the floor and introduced to the large crowd attending. A Grand March led by Mr. and Mrs. Paul C Thurston followed. For tops in high class dancing pleasure, the Top Hat will be open throughout the season every Wednesday and Saturday night.
