A Maine Historic
Burial Ground Mt. Will Cemetery
is located north of Bethel village between the Androscoggin River on the east
and Mt. Will to the west. It lies
along U.S. Route 2 that connects Bethel and Rumford. Colonel John S. York and members
of his family are buried there. York
was a soldier of the Revolutionary War. He and his family may have been the
first to be buried here. |
